Cajun Cyclists Racing

The Cajun Cyclists Racing Team is one of the most successful in the state of Louisiana. Of the past and present members on the team, several have attended the Olympic Training Center in Colorado, and others have trained and raced with European teams. The team's cohesive teamwork and tactics have definitely made it known that they are a force to be reckoned with on the road. Since the inception of the Louisiana Cycling Cup points competition in 1991 (now known as Louisiana - Mississippi Bicycle Racing Association since 2001), the team captured first place in the "Best All-Around Club" during the 1991-1994, 1998-1999 racing seasons, "Best All-Around Rider" (1991, 1994, 1998-1999), "Best All-Around Junior Rider" (1991, 1993-1994, 1999) and "Best All-Around Woman" (2003). This team is expected to continue this success into 2003 and the future. These novice to elite athletes, from students to professionals, balance everyday life with training and racing to achieve fantastic results like the ones above. Each team member displays a tremendous amount of dedication and determination to develop as an individual and as a team player.
